Turn the Weekly Report Into Encouragement
A few gentle ways to turn your child's weekly practice report into supportive conversations.

Numbers are only helpful if they lead to a good conversation. Now that Ilmino shows verified attendance and practice results for each scheduled session, here are a few gentle ways to make the most of them.
Celebrate Showing Up
Celebrate the attended sessions first. Turning up and putting in focused time is a real achievement, especially on a busy week. A quick word of recognition, such as noting that they got a full session in today, goes a long way.
Read Effort, Not Just Scores
Look at questions attempted alongside questions answered correctly. A child who attempted plenty but got fewer right is not being lazy, they are wrestling with something hard. That is your cue to sit with them, or to point them at a topic to revisit rather than pushing for more time.
Treat a Miss as Information
Treat a partial or missed session as information, not a verdict. Life happens. If a slot is regularly missed, it may simply be at the wrong time of day, and you can move it in seconds.
Watch the skills practised over the week. Ilmino shows which skills your child is building, so you can spot the areas getting plenty of attention and the ones that could use a little more.
Most of all, let the data support the relationship rather than replace it. Ilmino gives you an honest, private picture of your child's practice. How you use it, with warmth and encouragement, is where the real progress happens.
